📋 Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Not So Jungli ("we", "us", or "our") handles information collected through the NSJ Sales Tracker mobile application ("the App").

The App is an internal tool used exclusively by authorised members of the Not So Jungli team. It is not available to the general public.

📦 Information We Collect

To provide the App's functionality, we collect the following information from authorised users:

Account & Identity

• Name, email address, and phone number used during account registration
• User ID assigned to each team member account

Store & Retailer Data

• Store name, physical address (street, city, state, pincode)
• Store location coordinates (latitude/longitude) for field navigation
• Store photos uploaded by sales reps
• Store status, type, and area classification

Contact Data

• Retailer/shop-owner contact names, phone numbers, and designations
• Contacts may optionally be saved to the device phonebook by the user

Field Activity & Notes

• Visit logs including date, outcome notes, and sample records
• Order records including product, quantity, price, and payment type (cash/UPI/credit)
• Credit collection status and due dates
• Payment reminders and follow-up notes
• Return records including quantity and reason

🎯 How We Use This Information

All data collected is used solely for internal business operations, including:

• Managing retailer relationships and store visit history
• Recording and tracking field orders and deliveries
• Monitoring credit orders and pending payment collections
• Helping sales reps navigate to store locations in the field
• Generating operational reports for the internal team
• Providing technical support and resolving app issues

🔐 Data Storage & Security

Data entered into the App is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase / PostgreSQL). We apply industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls.

Only authorised Not So Jungli team members have access to the data. Access is revoked immediately upon a team member leaving.

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
• Legal requirements: If required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal process

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics platforms, or any external commercial purpose.

🗑️ Data Retention & Deletion

We retain app data for as long as it is needed for business operations. If you would like your account or data deleted, please contact us and we will action the request within 7 business days.

👶 Children's Privacy

The NSJ Sales Tracker is intended for use by adult team members only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

✏️ Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
